Thu is passionate about sustainable community planning, urban stormwater management, and incorporating low impact development techniques into the designs to reduce stormwater runoff. She is also fascinated by the intersection of nature with human health and wellness. She believes landscape architecture can improve people’s everyday health and wellbeing through design techniques that better air and environmental quality, physical recreation, mental, social, and emotional wellness. Her healing garden design project, Serenity Crossing, received the Texas ASLA Award of Excellence for the 2019 Student Design competition. In her free time, Thu enjoys doing fun outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (‘19).
Thu is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
