This family asked us to design an outdoor dining space that is screened from their neighbor’s deck that’s right up against the fence. They have an interesting rock wall along the back that creates a great deal of drama. We also proposed growing flowering vines up the wall and attaching galvanized wires for string lights. The larger side yard will remain open as a play area for their young child. The area is graded and leveled with steel steps and edging, framed by native plants.
